In 1993, the Dean of Beach Tourism in Egypt, Mr. Al-Mohammedi Houidiq, transformed his idea of establishing an entity that would bring together all tourist investors in the Red Sea governorate, and indeed the idea was implemented on the ground and with the help of numerous businessmen, the Red Sea Tourism Investment Association headed by Mr. Al-Mohammedi Houidiq and the membership of a number of tourism investors in the Red Sea was established.
The purpose of the Red Sea Tourism Investment Association is to improve investment and tourism, protect the environment, develop the Red Sea province and provide legal, economic, cultural, scientific, artistic, sports, social, administrative and health services and raise awareness of the public interest
Work on the implementation of the country policy for the development of the Red Sea government and the development of tourism in, in coordination with the Red Sea Governorate, the relevant ministries and agencies, facilities and chambers concerned in Egypt.
Defense of the common rights of members and represent them in front of the various administrative and legal entities. They shall have the right to institute judicial proceedings to claim the rights of their members and to defend their common rights and interests. They shall also have the right to join any of their members in any dispute before any judicial authority.
Resolving of disputes that may arise between members of the Association or between one of them and another
Coordination of the efforts of members of the Association and their representation in conferences, meetings, local and global markets, research and dissemination of laws, decisions and regulations relating to the activity of members and the Association
Exhibitions, conferences, competitions and artistic performances at home and abroad to promote tourism and publicity for the Red Sea region and its tourism-based facilities
Training in modern systems of management of tourist enterprises and training in employment for their construction, management and maintenance. The Association should cooperate with all specialized agencies and institutes and foreign, international and local organizations.
